mural for filipino restaurant ‘barkada’ - photowall/walkway area
in 2022 i worked with a melbourne-based filipino restaurant, ‘barkada’, to design and paint
a mural illustration for the photowall/walkway area in their newly opening restaurant.
for this mural the restaurant owners wanted something that was casual, relatable and interactive
— to encourage visitors to view and take photos with the mural — while still connected to the
overarching theme of friendship, memories and the good times.
